Mary Bondurant was born in Tipperary, Ireland, and began her real estate career at just 18 after her family settled in the Northeast. As the former owner of the Dunedin Hotel in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania, she developed a strong foundation in hospitality and client service—qualities that continue to define her professional success. Mary proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard for 10 years.

As the Founder of SanCap Pink Project, Inc. – “Let’s Pink Out” – and a breast cancer survivor, Mary has made it her mission to support and uplift those affected by cancer while fostering unity across the islands. Since its founding in 2012, the Pink Project has become a powerful local movement, raising awareness and funds for underinsured and uninsured Islanders facing cancer-related needs.

Mary’s leadership has been widely recognized. In 2025, she was honored as one of the 12 Outstanding Women of Southwest Florida and one of the “Inspired” Top Women in Real Estate. She is also a Past President of the Sanibel Captiva American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), former Chairwoman of the Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member of the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village. She remains active in Rotary, Zonta, America’s Boating Club, the Island Cotillion, and local veterans’ organizations.

Mary and her husband, Fred, are proud parents of two children — John, a Realtor and partner with Mary at Kingfisher Real Estate, and Bonnie, a dedicated Lee County teacher.
